Flow is the outcome from the synergy between art, design and craftsmanship.
It is inspired by the up-and-coming volcanic wines, wines from grapes
that are grown in rich volcanic soils in various places around the world, such as
Santorini, Sicily, the Azores, the Canary Islands and many more.
These wines mainly from indigenous grape varieties, express the richness,
complexity and power of their volcanic terroirs. In the same manner, the decanter
expresses the greatness of the volcano while it mimics its lava flow, as it
is traveling to finally cool down and form its shape. The clay is then fired at
1030 & 1080 degrees Celsius similar to the lava flow that usually varies between
700 and 1200 degrees.
The molten part which seems to fall from the surface where the decanter
is placed, makes it very easy to grasp while pouring wine in a glass.
